What is the general level of acceptance for the alternative type procedures among the medical community at large? I read the website and it seems right along the lines of what I envision for my medical career. I was accepted into an allopathic school where I will be an MS I starting in July. I recall at one of my interviews being aggressively challenged about wanting to integrate some traditional "eastern" approaches to treatment. After that, I didn't bring it up again.
I am definetely interested in PM&R (even before I saw this post), which stems from practicing Tai Chi for almost six years. Is there a big push for clinical testing for these "alternate" treatment types?
Thanks!
