anybody want to share something surprisingly cool about the campus/students/faculty/whatever where they interviewed?

Arizona have not graduated a class yet, this year will be the first. And they do not have the funds (since they are new) for merit or need based scholarships.

Harvard: Excellent food in a glass-ceilinged cafeteria 😉 Also, all the faculty seemed super-chill

UConn: The gross anatomy labs were right on the main floor with all the other classrooms and offices (I'm used to them being in some dank dungeon 😎 )

Buffalo: I loved the huge sculpture of the DNA double helix 😀 Also, LOVED how everyone decorated the clinics

UPenn: Loved how the dental school looks like a cathedral

Tufts: We got "Tufts University" toothbrushes 😀 😀 And the orientation was in a fancy schmancy boardroom, so I felt all Wall Streety

At Maryland, we got to put on safety halments and walk across 2x4s to go into the next room (new dental school building).

At UNC, 64 people were being interviewed.

At VCU, we got to assist the senior dental students in the clinics for an hour.

At UPENN, they gave me wayyyy too much food to eat!

At Pittsburgh - They have awesome health facilities. The weight room is in excellent shape. The chicks running on treadmills are in a pretty good shape too

At Louisville - The make the decision right after your interviews with the faculty and students. And they also let you know about it during your exit interview.

At University of Dentistry - They offered me a position to teach Gross Anatomy. And then they threatened to kill me 😀

At UMKC they gave us a long sleeve T Shirt with UMKC dentistry on it. It was cool.
