It was a pseudonym for Henry Wheeler Shaw who used to write literary humor in the mid 1800's.

Budumpadump

Usage at an interview: So, I got a "C" in Organic Chem because my prof had this fine perfectly round Badumpadump on her that just makes a man's heart miss a beat. So, the only mechanism I learned in that class is the the leg cross.

As for me, I'm quite partial to the "HOLLA."

Right before I'm exiting, I'll be sure to give a peace sign and say, "Yo, boo, I gotta bounce. HOLLAAAA!!"
