Hey everyone! Here are some pros and cons for each. I would love some insight into which to choose lol

USF

  • Tiered grading (H/HP/P/F) for preclinical and clinical
  • tuition is higher (around 10K per year)
  • higher-ranked (~50)
  • AOA after matching
  • class size is about 130
  • Have home residencies for all specialties
  • Tampa has a higher cost of living but would be a cool place to live
  • both NBME and in-house exams
  • no internal rank (i think)
  • haven't said anything about scholarships yet and are super delayed with it
Cooper

  • P/F preclinical and tiered grading for clinical
  • cheaper tuition
  • in house exams only
  • class size is about 112
  • in state/closer to family and friends
  • lower-ranked (~110)
  • the tour of the school was given by the assistant dean and he seemed nice and involved with the students
  • AOA before matching
  • Have home residencies for all specialties (i believe)
  • internally ranks students
  • 100% match rate, mostly in the northeast
