I have a question about the possible neurological anomaly in my male 4 y/o pembroke welsh corgi. On 2 occasions, once when he choked on food, and once when he was running hard in heat, I have seen him lose most voluntary control of his legs with increasing severity from head to stub?? The first time he lost a consciousness a little (choking), but the second time he was fully aware. Is this some anomaly with corgis and their long spine? Both times it seemed to be the result of decreased o2 sat? Any ideas? 😕
