Cornea Fellowship After DO Residency

I am just starting my ophthalmolgy residency at a DO program but am already considering pursuing a cornea/refractive surgery fellowship afterwards.

For those who graduated from a DO program that matched into a fellowship, what advice can you give? Was there a bias because you came fron AOA vs ACGME residency?
