No financial aid offers, so the debt will be large no matter what. If costs were matched I would choose Cornell.
But is Cornell worth the extra ~$40,000 of debt?
Both schools are excellent, embedded in excellent hospital systems. Both in NYC. Curious to hear anyone's thoughts ...

Cornell for many reasons. One large one being location, Cornell’s location is a million times better than Einstein and your talking about one of the best hospital systems in the world at Cornell to an above average one at einstein.

Also support the decision of going to cornell, cant beat that recognition. The debt is well worth how much further you will get going there.

OP, if you prefer Cornell, I'd go there. Better location, arguably stronger reputation in medicine, arguably stronger match results, fantastic hospital system and neighboring institutions (NYP, MSK, HSS, Rockefeller). I'd argue Cornell is underrated in the new USNEWS rankings, and though I wouldn't use rankings to choose a school, in this case if you prefer Cornell, I think that preference plus the aforementioned advantages makes it worth the 40 K over Einstein (even though Einstein is also a great school).
