I posted this in the Allopathic forum; thought there might be some anesthesiology residents here that could help too...

I'm going to be working in an anesthesiology lab at Weill this summer, and I have to choose between 2 labs: that of Dr. Hugh Hemmings and that of Dr. Peter Goldstein. Has anyone here had any experience with either or both of these doctors? Perhaps they've taught a class or you've worked with one of them...? I'd be appreciative of any input you might have.

I might be able to put you in touch with a former PhD who worked in the department there. I think he worked with Dr. Harrison, although he mentioned two names, and Goldstein might have been the other one. I'm blanking.

PM me with an email address and I will try to get in touch with this guy and find out. He might have some advice in general anyway.

Work with Hemmings...the man is brilliant, super-nice, and deeply involved in the department at Cornell.

both are great in their own way. check your PM... P.S. I don't check mine often, so don't take it personally if you don't get a response right away.
