Have any of you Cornell applicants had anything show up on your tracking page yet? They haven't tracked anything on mine yet even though they should have some stuff by now.

Amazingly enough I got a response. The answer is that they receive so much info from people that until they have your applications they don't worry about updating the tracking page. I got the impression that even when they get your application it could take awhile to update your tracking page. Hope this helps.

Huh...so basically they don't update your tracking page until after the due date? Kinda makes you wonder what the point is since if you rely only on the tracking page to see if all of your stuff is it will be too late anyway.

I checked just the other day, and some of my stuff was actually on there...but it was a little confusing. It shows my courses (undergrad), but then doesn't show anything indicating that my transcripts have arrived.

This is actually probably things they have pulled from your supplemental app. online (if you have started that). The program seems to automatically put your evaluators, universities, and classes into place on the tracking page. Probably so that the staff can then just quickly verify things and put in dates when the time comes to update your tracking. The reason I know this is that I went onto my supplemental and changed something and sure enough it changed on the tracking page too. 😀

I submitted my VMCAS on the 27, and it was mailed the 29th. Cornell still doesn't have it tracked as recieved. Anyone noticing this on their page?

Mine was updated pretty quickly earlier in the summer, but now is taking longer, I assume because they are so busy with it. However, one of my "animal experience" evaluators had sent in the eval, but when I saw it hadn't been updated for two weeks, I emailed and it had gotten into the "employer" category which are optional evals. So definitely make sure you watch it!

Hi VeganChick -- I'm having a similar problem! One of my animal experience evaluators said he submitted his evaluation (using the Cornell online system). BUT it hasn't shown up on my tracking page. I called them and they told me to keep watching the page, but that it should show up automatically and to make sure he really submitted it. He says he did, I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Did he receive any sort of confirmation email after he submitted it? If so, maybe you can forward that to show that it indeed was submitted. Can they check to see if it landed in a section where you didn't list any evaluators (like the "employer" section)?
