Which is why I'm hoping against hope they're still handing out acceptances - so far out of three people polled (not all on SDN) we have 3 goldwater scholars with an average of a 3.97 GPA and 38.666 MCAT

- oh and i brought those averages down from what they would be otherwise

this process is so random

I don't know, I'm pretty bummed not gonna lie. I did sort of give them the short shrift in the runup to the interview process, i.e. asked to push my interview to the second date, never got around to sending them a list of interviewers, asked for a hotel room at the last second, etc. Who knows, as j said, these programs are insanely tough to get into, so c'est la vie.
