Does anyone have any good tips for finding the coronary arteries at autopsy? I can only find them after I've taken cuts from the apex (short axis method). I would like to be able to find them in an undiscected heart.😕

If you have the heart out you can track them from the aorta and their origins. Failing that, they follow a fairly standard anatomy, at least at first, which textbooks can show you. In a severely diseased state you can feel them because they will be calcified.
