How are you guys turning into me saying I don't care if people die? lol I've posted about on my Corona post but as a community pharmacist, I take pride in that I can make a huge difference in my community and my patients' and our community's well being my top priority as a health care professional.HungerGames, are you just saying all of this because you think the virus won't harm that many people? Because I have to assume that you are not crazy enough to want everyone to not worry about getting infected.
Respectable. Those who are smart enough will appreciate it, dont mind the others. I have been facing some tension from people around me simply because I am asian. And it gets really awkward when someone coughs because everyone looks my way to see if it was me.
What I find funny and couldn't care less about is the people's mentality that this is the end of the world and panicking left and right. Hoarding and fighting over toilet paper and water. Clearing hand sanitizers and masks off the shelves when over and over it's advised that it does not help in viral infections causing the shortage for the people that actually need them. As Dr. ZDoggMD talked about, this is more of a systemic failure than anything else but I still find it funny how the general population is just in this apocalyptic end of the world panic mode.
Some of you on here are so adamant that you're not even gonna leave your home b/c people are gross anyways and you don't wanna get sick. Not the type of attitude you need to have for someone who works in health care.
Anywho, I do care for people that are sick, whether it's b/c of coronavirus or budlightvirus. What I do not care for is this stupid amount of chaos that's being exaggerated by the media and the people.
In times of tribulation, we should keep calm and carry on. Peace. Stay safe y'all. Don't go buy toilet paper.
