which muscle help in rest position of mandible?

CR position by which muscle?

if coronoid process # then wht happen in mandible movement?

1)Temporalis helps maintain resting position of the closure of mouth.

3)Temporalis inserts onto the coronoid process and anterior border of ramus of mandible. So if coronoid process is fractured, elevation of mandible and retraction of the protruded mandible might be affected. But masseter and medial pterygoid also help in elevation of mandible. So retraction of the mandible could be most affected.
