A thorough search did not reveal any info on this, and since I'm getting my ass kicked on the UW Step 3 question bank I thought I'd ask.

What have people scored on the question bank vs the real exam? Some say a UW score of 50-60% is enough...true or no? I'd hate to have to repeat this thing.

My best friend scored in the upper 30´s and low 40s and passed with 79. She said the real thing was easier in terms of more straight forward questions. I am right now studying and have between 45´s and 60`s on UW, I take the test in two weeks...I´ll let you know

Thanks, it would be great to hear your opinion once you take the test. I've been scoring the same as you, mostly 50s and it's been getting me nervous. Good luck to you on test day.

I think I already answered your question over in the general residency forum, but if not, let me say again that 50-60% should put you in great shape. I had an average of 59% before I took it and I felt like I should have passed. I don't know when you're taking the test but I'll post my result whenever I get it back.
