This may not deserve it's own thread, but I am wanting to know what the process has been like for other students. I am wondering what experience you all have had after you have made your decision and mailed/sent in the required acceptance forms and deposit (if required.) Have you gotten confirmation back, info about registration, anything? I have emailed and called to confirm they had received everything, but would really like something else on paper so I know everything is squared away, even an "official email" to follow up that I had been officially signed up to be in the cohort.
The program I was admitted to is a PsyD, so if of you have a general idea about how that is typically handled I would appreciate it.

I know it's just me being paranoid, but this is my future I'm talking about here. 😕

Please share!

I felt similarly worried, so about a week and a half after I mailed my confirmation and deposit, I emailed the administrative asst. at my program (also a Psy.D). She confirmed that the materials had been received and that a packet would be going out to the whole class in a few weeks. It definitely eased my mind, and I don't think it's unreasonable to want to get some confirmation! 🙂

i actually got a lot of correspondence. a letter saying they received my deposit and recently a mini welcome package with some upcoming dates and info. of course, every school is different but i definitely was anxious to get any information!

I am in a phd program but I confirmed everything through email with the program itself and double checked with admissions/bursar that they had received anything.

As for registration and all that, I didn't receive any info until summer.

Thanks everyone for sharing your experiences. I finally harassed the admissions office and received an email stating that everything was all set. So I feel 1000 times better right now!

I haven't heard anything from my program, but you inspired me to send an email since I've been worrying!
