I know that all foriegn students who are not rich need private loans with cosigner.
so far, i just find chase, citi that has load program for international student.
the issue is finding right a cosigner or cosigners. If you are lucky and can find only one cosigner who can take risk of all of your dental cost of 2~300K for 4 years + 2-4 years good payment history before they get removed from cosigner.
here's some issues that I want to discuss with you
1. who willing to take 4 years + 2~4 years of risk with that much amount of money? anybody find any livesavior?
2. or is it better to find 4 different people (1 for each year) or 8 people (1 for each semester) insted of one reduing their financial burden? (apprx $40.000 per person)
3. even if you find several lifesavior, there still a major problem. you have to submit a loan application at least once every year ( 1 cosigner per year) or twice every year ( 1 cosigner per semester). that mean some time later on one of your cosinger laid off and can't sign the form. -.- and other cosinger all so in the bad situatioin...what would I do? i have to quit after 2-3 years of education?

actually i having a problem finding cosigners and they are worry about the # 3. so they are not willing to sign....$40.000 is still a big money for an engineer who make $100.000/year...but becuase of the pitfall--#3...it's too risky for them... how do you make sure that a person can have a stable position in about 2-3years later especially in this bad ecomony??
one of my friend told me that.. having money is another important 'ability' according to him i'm a man of inability... i don't know what do to..i'm preparing this for 7 years since i came to us..i'm alreay in the 30s...
should I quit and go back home? is this really something that this country want me to do?
