I recently had an interview at CU and really enjoyed the visit. I'm really excited about the school and would like to look into housing in case I do get in. I was told by a dental student and my cab driver that housing in Omaha is cheap. The dental student told me that he paid $21,000 +utilities/maintenance for a townhouse shared with his wife (+/- kids?). Would this be cost of buying it?!? If so, that is crazy...😱

Anyways, I didn't get information on residence the student never lived there. Are dorms guaranteed for students? thanks in advance!

Hey, I am a second year at Creighton right now. I was really attracted to Creighton because there are some really safe, cheap areas to live close to school. It takes me 5 min to get to school in the morning. The townhouses you are talking about are called Village Green. They are a little further out, but are really family friendly. A lot of the LDS students live there. They are about $30,000 to purchase and it's a co-op. I think you pay $300 per month for upkeep. They are pretty easy to sell when you graduate because they are generally passed down to new Creighton students. I hope that helps. I really like Creighton (as much as one can enjoy dental school) and Omaha is way better than I expected. Good luck!
