Anyone have a good reference or personal description of technique for costatransverse joint injection using fluoro. I have one for US from some of the guys at Mayo but I don't think that the image on my KONICA US will be good enough on my relatively large patient using a curvilinear probe.

^Interesting. Never tried contralateral obliquity.

I ipsilateral oblique about 10-15 degrees or so until I see the joint line.

Do u bill this as a “small joint injection “? Seems like a lot of work for $50

Don’t forget to subtract the costs of the needle, gloves, local, malparcatice, overhead, nurses emr, 100k c arm, contrast and steroid. See what you are left with.

So to clarify your approach. Do you just walk off the superolateral aspect of the TP until you feel the needle slide into the joint?
