I made a personal advent calendar.

Each day I pick a new area of skin on my body to excoriate.

By match day I plan to become anemic.

I will consider this venture a failure if my Hct is above 30%

the best thing about being anemic is that you get sleepy, and then you can while away the days drowsing instead of worrying incessantly about whether or not you'll match.

give it a shot! You will only get a few hundred comments per day by passersby asking why you're bleeding profusely. It's a small price to pay, in my eyes. my sore eyes.

So I just noticed that 3/14/10 is Daylight Savings Time day. That means we have to wait one less hour before Black Monday. The first time I think I'll ever enjoy losing an hour of my weekend.
