It's the second best option I have! It's relatively cheap for an OOS school (about 265k not including living expenses, but Pittsburgh is also one of the cheapest cities to live in the USA), the program is great, the class size is a little smaller, and the faculty were really great.

The dental anesthesiology was really cool! I liked how they had a hybrid PBL type of system and that the curriculum was kinda similar to med school.

UCSF and UTSD. Personally for me, it'll come down to a matter of whether I'd take the cheaper in-state tuition and stay closer to home or start a brand new albeit exciting chapter in San Francisco and take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities offered at UCSF . That being said, I really do like all of the schools I interviewed at and my fingers will be crossed. 🙂

I'm on the same boat lol UCSF is really my dream school but I can't ignore how much cheaper it would be to stay in state. So it will be a difficult decision if I got into both.

Honestly I like the earlier albums more 🤔 I'm all for him trying new stuff and keeping it fresh, but I just happen to like the other sounds heh.

I do love starboy though, and sidewalks is nice.

Wellll triology and kissland were the like "real" Abel, which were my favorite, but this new pop Abel is pretty good too, just a different style.

Exactly, it's a good album in the same way that Mozart is objectively good, just neither are really my taste 🙂

I'm not crazy about Staryboy but I support his transition into pop if that's what he wants to do. No one can take Trilogy, Kissland, or BBM from me. Haha

He actually did really poppy stuff before he became "The Weeknd". The drug-infused, anti-R&B persona chiefly came from the person that produced Trilogy. I think he's finally at a point in his career where he can explore the music he originally wanted to make.

I feel like some artists produce albums that are full of amazing songs, and they have only one or two that get popular because no one really promoted the other ones a lot. Then there are artists who have one or two amazing songs on an album, and the rest are just space fillers.

I kind of feel like the weeknd is the second type of artist. His good songs are fantastic, but everything else is just ehh.

I just keep gaining volunteer hours and shadowing hours. This is my second time applying and that's what I did first cycle also.

My last semester of college (after I got rejected the first time) I took a very heavy course load and schools seemed to like that because I got a lot more interviews this time around.

Touché. I really do feel the same, I always read about how people think they mess up the interview and still get in. I felt like most of my interviews couldn't have gone any better, so if I don't get in based on that then there was a red flag elsewhere.

Same here, hope we get in. Started to get more scared by the day.
 
I'd be way more excited for dec 1 if I didn't have a post dec interview with my top choice....I know I'm really lucky that I've had multiple interviews but even if I'm #blessed enough to get acceptances on dec 1 I still won't know where I'm going for SURE for over a month. But yeah I still put a big glittery tooth on my calendar to mark he occasion 🙂
