Y'all, please do not forget to take good care of yourselves in the next few days! Take a walk somewhere away from screens periodically, try get some exercise, remember to eat 3 meals a day, and most importantly try to get some sleep! I recently found a podcast called "Sleep with Me" that's basically just a guy telling really long/rambling/boring stories he makes up....sounds dumb but it has honestly really been helping me drift to sleep when I'm feeling nervous.

Serious question.. if your first choice calls you should you let any school that calls you after know or would you wait and let them know later? I don't want to lead schools on but I also don't want to mess anything up if something falls through with the first school. Opinions?

So yeah I'm in the same boat, my #2 should call 8 am day of and my #1 should email at midnight. I'm probably going to just thank them and not give any specifics as far as committing to anything, I'm sure they'll understand.

Do we even have to say anything other than thank you, cry, etc, etc... If they call?

That how i felt after my interviews, but as we approach dec 1st, im starting to think of all the worst possible scenarios that can happen.

I've been trying to keep myself busy to prevent too much of that thinking, prepare for the worst and you'll be pleasantly surprised!

You have to deliver an acceptance speech.

"I'd like to thank my parents for lending me money to pay my application fees, my cat for always supporting me when times were tough, and last but not least I'd like to thank the admissions committee...they like me, they really like me! GOODNIGHT AND GOD BLESS"

Trust me, you are not alone. I've been thinking about my interviews and debating if my answers were good enough, although I walked out of every interview thinking it went great. I've been doing that a lot and it just adds more to the already increasing anxiety.

Something I like to do to kill the time is to watch videos of OMFS. I think its cool and fun to watch. Its like Greys Anatomy because when you've seen them all you practically already a Doctor.

My biggest fear is getting waitlisted and having to continue waiting for who know how long. I rather just get a definite answer so I know exactly where I stand.

Or waitlisted to your #1 in state option and accepted out of state.. my biggest fear.

I was shadowing a D4 and she told me that she was wait listed and found out two weeks before school started that a spot opened up for her. She was doing a military scholarship so if she didn't get into dental school, she would have lost it or have to serve in the military.

Scary to think about.

You all seem so stressed out..soooo..im going to be putting some fun videos to watch...IMAGINE YOURSELF MAKING THESE VIDEOS IN THE FUTURE..IT HELPS RELIEVE THE STRESS

I've already seen all these D school videos like 30 times fam. Thanks for trying to relieve my anxiety though!

I just realized why I am feeling deja vu as I constantly open my computer to look and see if I have any new alerts. This is how the obsession manifests itself when you start talking to a boy you like
