1)can someone kindly explain the countercurrent mechanism in kidney ..
2)and is it true that diabetes mellitus causes concentrated urine ??
that 's what decks says ..but i thought it causes polyurea so diluted urine
3)in decks :ammonia is formed in renal tubule by deamination of glutamic acid ....and another deck says that ammonia is formed from glutamine
by renal glutaminase...
wich one is right i think the glutaminase as the deamination occurs in liver than transform the produced ammonia into urea before entering the kidney...
and if that's the case ..so there is ammonia and urea in tubular fluid ??.
