I recently got a job as a pharm intern. All the counting spatulas in the pharmacy are pretty bad. Cheap plastic handles with tweezers that don't work built in.

Anyone know of a good website to find decent spatulas. I can't count without a decent spatula.

Congrats on the new job, but please please please don't buy a freaking spatula out of your own pocket.

Besides, when you get really good, you'll dump 30 out without needing to count.

What I did was heat up one of my old Forged Titleist 7-irons and hammered it out on an anvil until I got the shape I desired.

The only problem I have been having is that occasionally I slice one off of the counting tray. Do you think I'm casting or dropping my right shoulder?

The day I used the back of the spatula to stab open a bottle, when the hook worked correctly and pulled the cotton out automatically was one of the best days of my internship.

I wanted so badly to thieve it and take it back to my home store.

I have 3 at home that I've picked up at various conferences. One is wood handled that Merck put my name on. One has a spring-loaded hook that works fairly well on the cotton, and the third has the cotton tweezers. My pharmacy has pretty good spats, so I've never had to bring them in, but I guess the point is, see if you can pick one up at a conference somewhere.

I toyed with starting up a side business of painting them cheaply for people.

Mine was blue with white flames and yellow tips.

I made a Lotus style one for a co-worker too lol

Back in the day when it was still okay, the best gift I got from a drug company was a counting knife with my name engraved on the handle.
