I have never posted on here before, but I cannot find an answer to this question.
I am couples matching this year (2014). My programs are sometimes categorical, sometimes advanced, and sometimes offer both, as I am going into PM&R. There are two peds/pm&r programs I am also ranking. My SO is going into a program that is just categorical. My question is this: when the same program offers an advanced and a categorical spot, how do we rank this? Should we rank the categorical spots higher, then go back and do the advanced? Will he rank his programs multiple times, i.e. his #1 and #2 could be the same because my #1 categorical is the same location as #2 advanced?
