I am couples matching in EM (with my fiance, who's doing radiology). I have been surprised by how many couples matches there are in EM. I have run into tons of residents who couples matched, and at some of my interviews there have been multiple other applicants couples matching. I think it's great! One really common combo I have seen is peds & EM.
Anyone out there on SDN couples matching this year in EM? What's your significant other going into? Also, any residents who couples matched in prior years into EM? Any advice for those of us doing it this year as ROL-making draws near?
