Ok this a pretty dumb question but just want to make sure...Do the schools go by the AMCAS transcript for the requirements?

So for example, a class that maybe not have been technically been "English" but gets verified as "English" by AMCAS, will the schools look at that as completing one class for their English requirement?

If the secondary doesn't ask you to list all the prereqs you've completed (only a few do), then yes, they use AMCAS.

If AMCAS considers that course to be "English", you're fine. It's the courses like "Physics for non-physics majors" that schools may find objectionable.
