Course Classification Questions

would a course entitled "chemistry and society" be included in the science gpa? how about a course named "tropical agriculture"? thank you

Generally your school's student information system will provide you with the classes counted in your sGPA.

I would assume it depends on what the course classification is. For instance, a BIOL class will count under your sGPA, as would a CHEM. However if the "chemistry and society" class is SOCI (sociology) then I would say it does not.
 
Look in your student handbook/course descriptions and see what classification it falls under. Social science, chem, etc. If the course isn't science content e.g. chemicals then prob not.
