I have some course classification questions. First, I took undergraduate epidemiology. There was a lot of basic math involved. Would this count as BCPM. I called AMCAS and they said it's up to my discretion but some discussions on this board suggest that AMCAS may change the designation if they don't agree with it.
Secondly, I will have 15 biology research credits come app time. I'm getting a sickening feeling that these may not be part of the sGPA calculation. This would be disastrous to my science GPA. Is this so?
Thirdly, what about cosmology? It involved a lot of math and physics.

Do the best you can with classifications, just know that whatever AMCAS decides is final and there's nothing you can do about. The cosmology sounds good for BCPM, IMO. Read through the AMCAS 2011 thingy.

I know this probably doesn't help much.

epi, no, at best it is pub health.
research, pick LAB ONLY and the division
cosmo = astro = physics.

Thanks for the replies.

There's another course I'm considering called Intro to physiological psychology. It's description describes it as about "neural and hormonal mechanisms underlying behavior." What are the odds that I could pass this off as BCPM?
