Course Load Question

So this quarter I ended up taking 3 lower division GE courses (I was a bit behind in fulfilling my GE requirements). I was wondering if this was a mistake and if it would be frowned upon since these GE classes are relatively easy. I am currently a Junior and the way my schedule is planned out for next year is that I am taking 3-4 Upper division a quarter.

Exactly! I remember being told by my pre-med advisors to take at least 15 hours with two difficult science courses and while this may make you more prepared in the long run it wont help you get in. A high GPA and taking all the required prereqs are all you really need.

Exactly, but I do think it might not help you out with your GPA in the long run. I would rather spread out my GE requirement with my upper division science courses, just so the science classes won't be impacted into a couple of quarters. Too many science classes at once might be too much and could make your GPA suffer in the end.
