I've been reading the admissions policies from some med schools and they're all a bit different and I am confused as to whether doing 5 fce per year is necessary or not - it appears for most schools it is not important. However, for ottawa , u need to have at least 3 years of 5 (5 per sememster, not 4 and 6). For queens u need 2 years of full course load studies. not sure about the american schools...

My question is this - for those of u who know or have an idea: Year 1(4), Year 2(3) Year 2 summer(1), Year 3(5), Year 4: (4), Year 4 summer (0.5), Year 5 (2.5)

With this kind of a record, are the chances good or bad that I will get accepted??? (assuming i have a gpa of 3.8+ and mcat of 32+)

input appreciated - i am slowly losing hope

Get good numbers, your credit load is fine. But, take every chance to challenge yourself academically, and all the other fun stuff.
