So this is probably a stupid question, but for course name, AMCAS states, :Enter the exact course name in English and the exact course number in the designated fields." Well on my transcript, the course name is abbreviated, so the question is do I put the abbreviated form on AMCAS or the exact, full name?

Ex. CLASSICS 1O2 "Masterpieces in Latin Literature"
appears as CLASSICS 102 "Masterpieces Lat Lit" on my transcript. So which one??

Second question. Is there a way to change my current/preferred mailing address once I submit my app? I am submitting this weekend, and I am home until August 6th, before I go back to school. I want secondaries to come here before I go back to school.
Thanks everyone.

I'd use the complete title. I'm sure the poor sap who has to manually verify everything at AMCAS will be able to figure it out and won't have any complaints. I'd rather leave no ambiguities for any admissions committee when it comes time for them to evaluate my coursework.

when i was applying i was told that the courses had to be written exactly as they were written in ur transcript.
you can change ur mailing address as many times as u want, but everytime u change ur mailing address u have to "resubmit" ur application. hope that helps.

I e-mailed AMCAS about the course title thing when I was doing it.

The response was that it doesn't matter - enter the course name the way you want the medical schools to see it. Having it abbreviated like on the transcript or written out in normal English are both fine.

I opted to write out the course names.

I wrote out the course names because I figured that would be the easiest way for adcoms to figure out what the courses actually were.
