Course Requirements - Is this plan tenable?

So for a couple of DO schools, I don't have the required coursework done. I'm missing 3 credit hours of english and 3 credit hours of psych (I was initially only prepping for MD applications, which were much more lenient on writing intensive courses instead of english and social sciences instead of psych). I graduated from college a couple months ago, so would it be acceptable to these schools if I applied to them now and registered to take these courses at my local community college in the spring? Would I need to report my intention to do that in my app somewhere?

Yes. There is a section on your AACOMAS to report planned coursework I believe.
