Hi, for a non pre-requisite course, I listed "Molecular Diagnostics II" twice instead of the other being "Molecular Diagnostics I". According to AMCAS, they won't change course title under the "academic change request". So how can I attempt to fix this or should I even bother? I already submitted AMCAS and a friend pointed this out.

meh if you can't change it you can't change it. No sense in stressing yourself out. AMCAS might change it for you when they verify your app anyway.

The sad thing is they have verified it and did not catch this mistake. Would schools look down on it and should I send a letter or anything?

What do you think an application reviewer would think? That you skipped MD I and took MD II twice? They'll probably just assume it was a typo and not worry about it. If anything, it's not something that would keep you from getting an interview, and if it's that big a deal to them they'll ask you about it in said interview.

Thanks, I was just worried that they look down upon it as they get thousands of applicants and may use it to screen applicants.

Probably not a big deal. You can call and ask a few places, but I don't think it's a big deal.
