After finishing my MPH, I decided to look for work. In the meantime, I decided to take a bunch of courses completely out of my element that I always wanted to take -- Literature and French language courses. It turns out I got an A and A+ in both courses which raised my cumulative undergraduate GPA to about 3.53.
I am taking more courses this year (3.5 full year courses) in the hope of raising of my cGPA to 3.58-3.59 and my sGPA to about 3.49..
My question is that while getting high grades is a positive, how much is it going to impact my GPA. Do med schools use the cGPA solely for their grade assessment?
thanks
