Hi,
As a requirement for DPT in my school i have to take Introduction to Biostatistics during my third undergrad year. My school is a 3 + 3 program.
I am a sophmore looking to take it after my second year ends during the summer. I am looking to apply to medical school in the future (if i am not satisfied as a DPT) Taking Biostatistics at the University I attend is way to expensive as it is a private institution. Would MD schools frown upon taking Biostat at a community college or an online course from a different institution (Texas Tech)? The community college local to me is one of the best CC in the nation.

Taking any class through a CC is fine, it's just important that you show you're able to handle science classes at the university level. If you're taking most classes at the university and doing good, it is totally acceptable, particularly because it's not a pre-req. Medical schools are unlikely to know (or care) how good the CC is.

Yeah, my biochem was not from my 4-year either. Its fine, just do well on it.
