Okay, so this question mighta been answered before, but I can't find it anywhere. Sorry >_>
I recently retook my genetics course because due to some personal circumstances during the spring I took it, I received a C and figured it was worth retaking to prove I understood the material better than that. Fastforward to now, and I retook it this past summer and received an A. I also filed for a Repeat Delete with CSU, which removed the 4 credits of C from the semester I got them in and then put down that this past summer I took the course again and received an A. (Huzzah!)
But...
The original molecular+general genetics course with the C now shows up on my transcript as "Molecular and General Genetics 4 Credits Grade: RC"
What exactly am I supposed to enter into VMCAS for this grade? Do I go ahead and leave it as a C and then just enter the repeated course for the summer with the A? I can't just leave it out because the transcript still displays it with RC next to it instead of an actual grade.
Another problem this is causing for my little brain is that on some supplementals (like CSU's >_<) it's asking for GPA and amount of credits during a semester. That semester, when looking at a summary of my transcript, says that I took 11 credits since they deleted the 4 credits of C. I don't want it to look like I was a total slacker there, because I was taking 15 credits, but I also don't want it to look like I'm trying to finagle myself into looking better than the transcript says I am.
Anyone else run into this before and have any advice on how exactly you're supposed to express it? VMCAS wasn't much help when I asked them, they just told me that they don't have a way to indicate what I was explaining. Ahhh!
