I have a somewhat peculiar situation here.
I was given AP credit for Calculus A and Statistics (passed the AP exams with 3 in high school).
I knew I wasn't adequately ready for Calc B at the college level, and decided to take Calc A at my 4-year university. My institution didn't allow me to forego my AP credits and so it has made things a little weird here now. I took Calc A, then Calc B at my university. Later on, I realized some med schools didn't accept AP credits for pre-reqs, and so I decided to retake Statistics 5 (a course deemed equivalent to my AP Stats credit) at my university to complete the 1-year math requirement most schools require.
Now, my AMCAS verified courses show my Calculus A and Statistics 5 classes as "Repeat (R)" for my AP Calc and AP Statistics credits.
I did well in both and got As, but I'm wondering if this looks bad to adcoms by having these two courses shown as "Repeat"? Sorry if i'm a little paranoid! For what its worth, the AP high school courses were definitely not equivalent in terms of preparation and depth of content compared to taking it at the university level. Wasn't even close, so I think I made the right decision. But am still worried how it looks to have it shown as "Repeat."
Thanks so much for all helpful advice. Been trying to search for answers and haven't really found an exact one.
