I am able to take an extra two courses at ASU before graduating in May 2014. I am part of the Anatomy Physiology Lab TA Program, which counts as class credit (after you have taken A/P, you can teach). It is also a good opportunity to get to know the professor and get a good letter of recommendation. I have the choice of teaching for the extra two courses or I can take other upper division biology courses, such as Microbiology, Cell Biology, which I haven't taken yet. I could also spend the extra time taking Spanish courses.
I noticed on the AAMCAS site that teaching is important to them, but I was also wondering if the other courses mentioned might be better to take than teaching. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!
