Courses to take before the DAT

Hello all, so I recently finished Bio 2, Ochem 1 and Physics 1. Over summer I plan on taking an Evo Bio course (required for BA). During the fall I plan on taking Microbio, Ochem 2 and Physics 2. My question is what would prepare me better for the DAT which I plan on taking next spring, Cell Bio or Genetics? I'm going to be a part time student for Spring 16 so I can study for the DAT in the meantime. Cheers.

Genetics. When I took the DAT last June, I felt like I had a disproportionate number of genetic-related questions and RC passages.

Cell bio. I feel like I learned everything related to genetics on the DAT in intro to bio

there will be more genetics questions but the ones that appeared were ones i probably could have taught myself. The cell bio questions, while fewer, were more difficult IMO so id take that.

Ended up taking Evo and currently in Cell Bio, will take Micro in fall semester and also take genetics around the time I will study for the DAT so the genetics section will be fresh in my mind.

I self taught physio and it turned out fine. It would have been nice to have taken the class before the DAT, though

Any book you would recommend? I have Cliffs AP Bio 3rd edition

I read Cliffs, but what really helped me was watching the youtube channel Crash Course. For me, it's easier to understand each system when it's in a video rather than words. I also used Destroyer
