I have questions regarding bio courses for most dental schools.
For basic bio, I took genetics and evolution, cells and protein, and biochemistry. i haven't taken any courses with physiology yet and should i take them? i remember seeing microbiology for some dental school requirement but i was confused if i was supposed to take it as advanced bio course or a basic bio course (as i think cells and protein course offered covers it).

I thought physiology was useful for the DAT, but it was nothing that you couldn't just learn when you were studying for it. As far as microbio, the one I took was actually under the microbiology department. I would assume it would be classified as an advanced bio course, but really the only basic bio courses I think of are like the intro general biology series.

I would.... I mean, your going to get hit pretty hard with medical school level physiology when you get to dental school, might as well build a little undergrad foundation..... However it is NOT necessary to take it in undergrad, I just think it will make life a little easier
