So we just finished our cardiovascular part of physiology and I was looking at some step 1 physiology questions to study for our upcoming quiz and it seems like a quarter of the material on those questions wasn't even mentioned in class. It's not because I haven't been studying enough, I know the material that was taught like the back of my hand.

So now I'm worried that I'm going to have to teach myself all this material next spring in the 4 weeks we get off to study. Is this how it was at your schools?

No matter where you go there will be gaps in what you learned and what is on the exam. However, I wouldn't be too nervous about the c/v phys. The physiology is mostly tested as pathophys on step 1. So, while you learn the normal state in physiology, a lot of what will be on the step will relate to what will go wrong. You will cover a lot of this in path.
