I wasn't able to decide until last year (my junior year) that I really want to consider MD/PhD as an option. I've done some researches during the semesters, so that is not too big of an option... My main concern is the coursework. If I want to pursue biomedical sciences as most MD/PhD programs are, would I need to take a lot more upper-level biology?

I so far took Intro Bio I&II, 1-month workshop in cell biology (several years ago though..), and experimental neuroscience. I will take Biochem next semester, but I'm just afraid that I won't have skills for cell/molecular biology techniques that some students have since I'm Chemistry major and chemistry labs are a lot different from bio labs (esp at upper levels)...

Don't worry about it. You'll get more Bio than you ever wanted in med school! Your skills will be put to good use in a biochem PhD where you can take grad level Bio if necessary.

Though if you have time I thought my undergrad cell Bio and physiology courses helped me out a bit.
