So I'm looking for a job in an area where I don't really know anyone. I've got a few leads, some of which are of the form, "Hey, I talked to my brother and his wife works in the ED at wherever and he said she could pass along your CV" or going through my girlfriend's future boss's friend.
I don't see any reason not to take advantage of this, but in some of these situations I can't really find out who the medical director I'd like to be receiving this ultimately is. Do you guys think anyone would care if I just address it generically, i.e., "To whom it may concern" or something?
