prompts seem to vary in specificity and in how optional they are

• Weill: "If applicable, please tell us about any special circumstances related to COVID-19 that could help us understand you better." which is pretty vague
• SUNY Upstate: "We understand that the COVID-19 crisis disrupted many aspects of our lives. Please share if you had any curricular impacts during this time, for example, change to pass/fail courses or to online coursework or if you anticipate any deficiencies in experiences as a result of COVID-19."
• Tufts: "Given how the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the world these past few years, please contextualize how your experiences have been affected which might include your personal, professional and educational journey."
• Northwestern: "Describe how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your pathway to medical school. Include any academic, personal, financial or professional challenges, as well as any other relevant information."
