Hey so how do you guys approach CP? Do you read the passage and then do the questions, or you read the question and then refer to the passage as needed? I am always running tight on time, so I am trying to see if there are any tips that could help. Thanks.

For C/P, B/B, and P/S I always looked at the question first. A lot of questions can be answered without the passage. I used to have issues finishing CP and BB, finished on time once I changed my system. Finished P/S in 30 minutes doing that.

I often found myself first looking at any tables or graphs provided in the passage. I would read passages that were purely text, but if there was anything besides text, that's where my eyes went first. My review books suggested this strategy and it was pure gold. Start by thinking about what the graph or data are telling you, because you are ultimately answering questions that require thinking about that material.

I agree that for C/P and B/B over half the questions could be answered without reading the passage. The rest could be answered by interpreting the experimental data. I don't recall any questions being extracted straight from the text like reading comprehension.

I found I had to read the passages on my P/S section and that it felt very much like CARS2.0, and had some reading comprehension questions based on sociology theory I had not encountered before.
