pharmacist2005, the fee for the actual license should be in the same envelope with the congratulations letter that you have passed. if it didn't come in the same envelope email/call the board asap.

if your talking about just applying for the cpje. it's on the CA Board of pharmacy website. The fees vary because the background check can be from $75-130, plus the $185 standard test fee, and lastly the PSI exam fee which is like $33.

hi vynase

i am talking about the actual license since i have cleared cpje and naplex. I received the letter from california board saying that i have passed cpje and that i will receive the application in the mail within next couple of weeks. I called the board of pharmacy and asked if i can send the license fees and they said that i should wait till i get the application in the mail.

I guess this delay is because they released all the results in bulk. do you think i should send the fees without application as suggested by some of my staff pharmacist at the store ?

thanks
pharmacist

Dunno if you should or not because what if they lose your stuff. CA BOP is notorious for losing items. Also even if you do, you have to send back your intern license too which is another item that they could lose and never say they got it. I guess they must have ran out of paper to print up there or something. Maybe you can find a friend that has passed and photocopy that paper before they write their info on it?

i just got my results for my cpje retake, i passed!!wuhuuuuu🙂 i cant believe it..God is good.

Congratulations! i am taking the CPJE again soon since i failed first time. what did you study this time to pass?
I need help!!!

I reread the weissman book back to back and also read tarascon handbook pharmacopoeia, it has notes after most drugs which give you info about the drug that is different.i found that that is the stuff they test on, anything that is different about a drug or class of drugs.best of luck this time round

Also here is a question..

Pharmacist to tech ratio in california is 1:1. When two pharmacist are working it becomes 2:1. So if you have two pharmacist working are you allowed 3 techs or 4?
