I'm debating whether I should buy this. For anyone who used it, how is it? Is it helpful and is it similar to real DAT PAT? If you recommend it, should I get King edition (5 exams) or Ace Adition (10 exams) or Royal Flush eddition (everything)?

I am currently using it now. I can't compare it to the real test, but I feel that a lot of the PAT is just practicing. For instance, I feel like cube counting is just knowing how many sides are open based on quickly looking at it instead of actually counting each side, and that just comes with practice. the software comes with three generators (i forget for which subsections), and it never expires (which you may or may not care about depending on how far out your test is). I think some people say it's easier than the real test, but that just means you should make sure you get above the score you are aiming for on the software.

Do you recommend getting royal edition, king edition, or ace edition? What edition did you get? My DAT is in December. Do you recommend getting it now and start practicing?

i got the royal flush edition bc it has 10 tests, but it was also a birthday present and it was on sale for some reason, so i didn't really consider costs, just amount of practice. the only thing i sort of regret is getting the QR and science sections in addition to reading and PAT. I definitely think getting it now would be a good idea since your DAT is in december, bc you can become familiarized with how to do each section, then just do a subsection a day (10 minutes). It'll really help with practice, and you won't have to worry about it when you study for the rest of the test closer to December.
