Hi, ive purchased the 10 test version and my 2 main questions are;

Why are there test versions with REALLY hard type of questions ? For example, the hole punching in one test would be extremely difficult compared to another test in the crack dat pat.

Also, what difficulty level would i encounter during the actual dat? The more difficult type problems in the crack dat pat or the easier ones?

Thank you all, gd bless and have a great weekend.

Crack DAT PAT is really good resource for PAT. From everyone I've heard so far they said that Crack DAT PAT has question that are similar level of DAT and above. And more question that are above the level than at similar. If you finish those 10 tests you should be fine on PAT

From what I remember

aperture passing: about same difficulty (between crack and real DAT)
top/front-end: same difficulty
angles: same difficulty
hole punching: Crack was way harder than real DAT
cube counting: same difficulty (maybe crack a tiny bit harder)
3D formation: about same difficulty (maybe real DAT a tiny bit harder)

dentalworks, so you feel hole punching can be done on the real DAT in the alloted Kaplan method of 5 minutes? Because on CDP I suffer in that piece of PAT, I never get more than 4 or 5 questions right even if I use 10 minutes. (maybe its because I feel it takes forever to get it right and I rush through.)

hmm... I dunno. I just remember when I was doing the DAT... and when I got to holepunching... I kept telling myself "wth is this? this is so easy, I am flying through this... whoa this is so much easier than crack"

Just keep practicing with crack lol... I know what you mean.... crack's holepunching is pretty difficult, there is no way in hell I was getting it done in 5 minutes... Maybe 9-10?

I understand. any other advice on the angles? besides the rapid eye glance. I keep noticing I don't do well on angles that are close to each other by 5 degrees or less. those tend to be a hit or miss nearly every time.

Angles was my worst section. Never improved. Always 7 or 8 correct out of 15....

I used to think the questions were B.S.... so I got a protractor one time and.... well, they were designed with 3 deg differences, I dunno how a human eye can detect that ESPECIALLY WHEN THOSE FREAKING THINGS ARE SIDE-WAYS AND UPSIDE DOWN..

This section, you either got it or you don't.
