Hey guys,
This questions is for those used crackdat pat.

Would you say their keyholes are close to the real dat?

what about pattern folding?

Angles?

Their insane hole punching?

Anyone whose used this product and has taken the dat...please respond and share your experience!!

I'm trying to compare their difficulty to the real dat!
thanks a billion,

i took the real dat last year and from what i remember, the hole punching isn't nearly as crazy as the crack the dat ones. Crack the dat made them really hard,

i'd say if you could do the ones in topscore and achiever well then you should be ok. As far as the other stuff, like TFE, keyholes, i think if you could do the crack the dat ones, then you should be very well prepared.

I agree with the above poster...their stuff is insane (especially the angles, which are within a couple of degrees from one another). But I guess if you can do the hard stuff the real test may seem easy.

Are all their exam angles insane? Or just the "bonus angles"? Which one did you buy btw?

yeah the angles are pretty tricky because the are only a few degrees apart. for me it was hard at first, but after a few exams i was able to get it done pretty well and i have the royal flush

hey guys thanks 4 responding....their angles are killing me.... its pretty tough...so is their hole punching..i just find myself getting a headache...lol...i have the royal flush version...

i'm trying to work on speed...cuz i'm still too slow...

thanks!

I need to improve my PAT badly. Got a 15 last year...

How are the explanations on this thing?

its animated...i like their hole punching explanations b/c it literally folds the paper and punches the holes..and then unravels it
for keyholes, it'll show you the front/ top/ end view..you can rotate it
for t/f/e, it'll show you the figure...you can rotate it
for pattern folding, it'll fold up the figure then you can rotate it..they are implementing new explanations where you can control the speed of the folding...
angles, it'll just tell you the degrees...nothing special
cubes, it'll highlight the cubes...their cc is harder b/c they would have like 8 cubes w/ 2 sides...i've even got 11...not really comparable to the dat, cuz the max is 5...but nonetheless, good practice...

overall, it makes you really think...but i think theirs is a tad bit harder...

great. I need as much practice as possible. But for some reason when I click on some of th elinks like support, contact us or "more info" I get a "page not found error." Is anyone else experience anything like this?

yea, i've got that before...i just keep trying...its weird..it'll work sometimes and then sometimes it wont...i guess i'll email them...they've gotten real used to my emails...lol

i do crack the pat and i score a 20 most of the time. initially only could do a 16 so i feel your pain. this is what i do. i compare angles only two at a time. i don't look at everything at once. with hole punches i visualize the symmetry of the inital fold and whether it is interior exterior etc. then i work backward from the hole punch. hope that helps. also with angles use the answer choices to narrow stuff down.
