i found a website about crack DAT PAT, has anyone used it or still using it, if so how is it. It looks like they have plenty of pratice questions. I would like to hear from anyone who uses it. Thanks

LOL just kidding......i never used it and but heard good things about it....i solved Topscore and Achiever just once and thats it....

i used the version of crack dat pat with 5 pat tests on it and thought it was very helpful. i liked how this was set up and i think the difficulty level was very similar to the real thing. i was getting 22-23 on crack dat pat and got a 22 on the real thing.

What about for the reading comp section? I need a lot of help on that part. Do I just need to read a lot of journal articles?

I bought Crack DAT PAT but have not used it yet. for the RC, my adviser recommended reading journals on-line. NY Times online (health and science sections and editorials), Nature, Science, and New England Journal of Medicine; these sources use a bit “higher” intellectual level of reading than the average magazine, making them more challenging to absorb.

However, if any body has more ideas that work then PLEASE DO TELL🙂

with the cube counting does the real DAT give you a figure and then ask multiple about that figure or is it like crack DAT PAT where every question is about a new figure? I took the Kaplan course and they instructed us that there would be multiple questions about a single figure.

Don't know what you mean, Crack does have multiple questions on a single cube figure. 😕

Oh wow really ... Ive only taken 2 of the tests but each time ive had 15 questions about 15 different cubes. From what I remember about the real DAT each figure has around 3 consecutive questions.

i am pretty sure that it is multiple questions per diagram. But multiple means 2-3 questions per diagram, for the cube counting that is.

Crack DAT PAT is a good practice tool, but it does have a few mistakes here and there. Overall, I think it is harder than the actual PAT section.

Yeah, I was very surprised myself when I saw the score.

With the angles, the best trick is to just practice and practice some more. Pick up Achiever, TopScore, and Crack DAT PAT if you haven't already.

Go over any practice problem that you get wrong, or had to guess on. I don't mean just look at the answer key, but actually pull out your trusty protractor and measure the angles to convince yourself that the answer key is correct. There were a few times when I found mistakes in the practice materials.

Lastly, this may sound somewhat common sense, but I found it helpful to evaluate the angles relative to 90/180 degrees.

Crack DAT PAT does give you a solution and explanation. You have to double-click on the problems when you're reviewing your test.

Achiever also give solutions and explanations. I think TopScore only give solutions, it's been a while since I used it.

Took one last night and for the first time, after reading your post, analyzed my results. Thanks, Crack DAT PAT is turning out to be a great investment. Which others would you recommend? Achiever?

Achiever's PAT is very challenging but also very good. They have 3d explanations like Crack does.

Topscore's pat is pretty easy in comparison. The questions in the different tests only seem to be slightly varied from each other and there are no detailed solutions.

great! ... looks like ill be getting achiever ... When I took the DAT i got a 22 on PAT but was shocked when I got my score and know I can improve. Hopefully, Crack and Achiever will do the trick
